REGISTRATION

Registration is a process of combining multiple individual scan setups together into a single point cloud. Registration is a crucial step that makes scan data usable for the purposes of generating deliverable drawings or models.

DRAFTING

A registered point cloud is used to create plans, sections, elevation views or maps depending on the scope of work and project requirements. Depending on the scan data density and coverage, resultant plans can be drawn as detailed and inclusive as needed.

MODELING

Whether project spec calls for BIM, 3D CAD or Mesh, modeling is a process of converting a registered point cloud into a digital vector model. Just as with drafting, modeling may be very detailed or basic depending on the project needs.

ANALYSIS

Laser scanning produces detailed, accurate spatial data that lends itself well to applications such as floor and wall deviation studies, calculating volumes and creating digital terrain models.
